TELEVISION SUCCESS
220 MILES TRANSMISSION British Wireless RUGBY, Juno 6 Television transmission over a distance of 220 miles is reported from Middlesbrough. On a standard receiving apparatus erected on a specially chosen site on the outskirts of the town, an Alexandra Palace programme of dancing and other items was clearly viewed for over an hour, with some interruptions owing to electrical interference.
