ENJOYABLE DANCE
CANDIDATE WELCOMED FUNCTION AT OPOTIKI NATIONAL PARTY BRANCH A successful dance organised by the committee and members of the Opotiki branch of the National Party Mas held in the Lyric Hall. Attractively arranged with nikau and greenery the hall provided a' fitting background for the many pretty frocks worn by the ladies. After supper, Mr. F. J. Short, chairman of the Bay of Plenty National Party electorate, introduced the guests of honour, Mr. AY. Sullivan, the Bay of Plenty National candidate, and Alri. Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan expressed his appreciation of the opportunity of meeting his supporters. Mrs. V. E. Wilson presented Mrs. Sullivan with a bouquet. Among those present were: — Mrs. W.
