SHOCK PROVES FATAL
ELDERLY FARMER'S DEATH RESCUE FROM FIRE RECALLED [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] TAIHAPE, Tuesday The death has occurred at the Taihape Hospital of Mr. James McDonnell, aged about 80 years, farmer, of Raketapauma, 15 miles from Taihape. . Mr. McDonnell was admitted to hospital a short time ago suffering from shock following a fire which destroyed his house.
Deceased was rescued from the burning building by a Maori employee.
