RACE AT TAURANGA [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TAURANGA, Tuesday The Tauranga Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club held its first road race of the season yesterday, when a large number of spectators assembled at the Domain gates to see the start and finish. Eleven starters lined up to take part. The course was round the Cambridge Road block, a distance of approximately 14 miles. R. Sutherland, off the 5m inaik. was the winner, P. Morriis, also off sm, being second.
