WORK ON DIET TKACK OUR McKINNEY BEST HALF SOUND TASK BY PRINCE PEDRO BY ABAYDOS The dirt track was in good order at Epsom yesterday. The smartest sprints were recorded by Our McKinney, 1.8, Moko Girl, 1.8 2-5, Fisher, 1.8 3-5, Prince,Pedro, 1.8 4-5, Reception, Lady Amanda and Rod Frontier, 1.9. McMillan), worked a sound two miles. He was well behind Ratepayer entering the last mile and a-quarter, but won' in 2.55, the last half in 1.8. Our McKinney looks all the better for his first day's race. Ratepayer ran 2.57 2-5, the final section in 1.10. Moko Girl (C. 11. Wood) worked two miles, trotting tho last half in 1.8 2-5. She is improving with racing. Great Surprise (L. Laver) trotted his last mile in 2.27, tho final half in 1.12. He only needs to go away correctly to have a chance to-morrow. Great Sonoma Goes Well Great Sonoma (C. M. Morrison) made no mistakes while trotting a mile and a-half in 3.36, the final half taking 1.10. Waingake <C.
