CONTEST AT HAMILTON [FROM OCR OWN correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday The Hamilton Sports Club's 40-miles road race from the Hamilton East post office to Morrinsville and back. contented by 45 riders, was held to-day. H. <Liddington. 1m 435, secured fastest time, completing the Journey in 111 48m. Following were the results:—C. Swinburne (Matamata). 16m, 1; \L. Freeman (Hamilton), 7m 455. 2; V, Coles (Matamata), 10m, !li G. Williams (Hamilton), 7m 455, 1. Fastest time. H Liddington (Hamilton). Im 40s. BEACH HAVEN CLUB The Bench Haven Amateur Cycling Club held an open race from Birkenhead to Orewa and back, a distance of 4.1 miles. Ridinc conditions were perfect, and a good field of UK riders started. Results ware as follows.-—A. L- Hawke mm), 2h (3m 7s. I; E. Atkinson Ulni), 2h fim Bs, 2; D. Arvidson (11m), 2h 6m 9s, 3. Fastest time. E. Langridge (scr), lh B7m 61s.
