WIN FOB, AUCKLAND WAIKATO HEAVILY BEATEN TWENTY-NINE POINTS TO THREE FAST GAME AT HAMILTON The annual Rugby match between Auckland and Waikato was played at Rugby Park, Hamilton, yesterday afternoon, and resulted in a win for Auckland by 29 poirts to 3. The weather was beautifully fine and warm and there was a large attendance. The first spell was fairly evenly contested, forward play predominating. Auckland led at half-time by eight points to nil and had shown sufficient form to demonstrate that the backs would bo likely to hold sway in the second spell. Such proved the case and the issue was never in doubt. Auckland scored seven tries, while Waikato failed to cross the line, its points coming from a penalty kick. The Hamilton Caledonian Pipe Band played selections before the match and during the interval and also piped the teams on to the ground.
