GERMANY MAY DEFAULT OTHER OBLIGATIONS ALSO ANXIETY IN LONDON LONDON, June 2 The City is most worried over the course of negotiations between Britain and Germany on the Austrian debt question, as Germany is adopting the attitude that if pressed she will repudiate not merely Austrian, but the whole foreign debt, including the Dawes and Young Plans' loans. Influential circles in the City urge that Britain should impose exchange clearing restrictions against Germany if she defaults, and thus deprive her of free sterling balances which would aggravate her already great difficulties of obtaining raw materials. The Australian Associated Press says it understands that the finds sympathy in Government circles, which are perturbed at Germany's growing contempt for her obligations.
