SILVERDALE BURGLARIES

SMALL SUMS IN CASH TAKEN Two premises at Silverdale were entered by burglars on Friday night. Forcing tho back door of the post office, they removed a cash box containing about £1 in money, while at the butchery of Messrs. J. T. Drennan and Sons a cash register was broken open and the contents, amounting to about 15s, stolen. A ham and a joint of mutton were also taken from the shop.
