MURDERER OF CHILD ALFRED SPICER EXECUTED SYDNEY. May 26 Alfred Spicer, aged 65, who was sentenced to death early this month for the brutal murder of a six-year-old girl, Mareia Hayes, last Christmas Eve, was hanged this morning. Alfred Spicer. who was aged 65, was a gardener. He was convicted on a charge of murdering Marcia Hayes, aged six, near Windsor, New South Wales. Her body was found in a sack.
