CHURCH MEETING

HENDERSON DISTRICT There was a largo attendance at the annual mooting of parishioners of the Henderson parochial district, hold in tho Foresters' Hall on Tuesday night. A credit balance of nearly £2' l was shown in tho balance-sheet. Officers wore elected as follows: —Vicar's warden. Mr. A. W. Bussey; people's warden, Mr. R. Roberts; vestrv, Mesdames Mac Donald, Ingham, Pijacnn, I. (I. Laurie, Messrs. Tlicct. Griffin. Matthews and I'erris; auditor, Mr. Masse.v; secretary and treasurer. Mrs, 1. (J. Laurie. In recognition of his services as lay reader and secretary of tho vosty for a number, of years, Mr. K. T\ Sineox, who is leaving tho district; was. presented with a fountain pen by tho vicar, the Rev. W. IT. Styeh,* on behalf of the vestry and tho parishioners.
