PORT OP AUCKLAND TWO OVERSEAS CARGOES The Port Line motor-ship Port Wyndham, with five passengers and general American cargo, will arrive from New York this morning and berth at King's Wharf. She is expected to sail for Wellington on Monday. The British steamer Llangollen, with sugar from Java, will arrive about the same time and move to Chelsea to discharge. The Huddart-Parker motor-liner Wangajiella sailed last night for Sydney and Melbourne with 280 passengers from Auckland. With wheat from Williamstown, Melbourne, to Government charter, tho Union Company's steamer Waiotapu arrived yesterday morning and berthed at Prince's Wharf, lho Waiotapu is expected to sail for Newcastle about Wednesday. The Admiralty Rurvey ship Endeavour will return from the Hauraki Gulf this morning and berth at Calliope Wharf. After the removal of her engines at Central Wharf the Northern Steamship Company's old steamer Arapawa returned to ino stream yesterday morning. * The Watchlin Line, motor-ship Port Waikato arrived last evening from Lyttelton ana berthed at King's Wharf. She * 8 to sail for Wellington and the South today. • The Auckland Harbour Board's tug Te Awhina left the slipway yesterday afternoon and moved to Queen's Wharf to complete overhaul. She will be fitted with a new fender this morning. The Richardson Line motor-ship Awahou arrived from Gisborne last night. After fuelling at Western Wharf she will move to King's Wharf and sail for the East Coast on Tuesday. The same company's motor-ship Pukeko is expected on Monday morning from the East Coast. .The Pukeko will sail for Portland the same night. THE PORT MONTREAL With cargo from Eastern Canada the M.A.N.Z. Line's new motor-ship Port Montreal will arrive from Halifax on Sunday afternoon and berth at Queen's Wharf. THE TANKER THORSHOV Tho Union Company has received cabled advice that its chartered tanker Thorshov left San Pedro on Tuesday with bulk fuel oil for Wellington, where she is due on June 20. MATAROA IN PORT The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa arrived yesterday afternoon from Wellington to complete discharge of cargo from London and to begin homeward loading. She berthed at Prince's Wharf. THE PORT HALIFAX Cabled advice has been received that the M.A.N.Z. Line's new motor-ship Port Halifax left Montreal on Sunday morning for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here on June 24. THE MATAKANA LATER The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana, which is loading for London and West Coast ports, will now leave New Plymouth on Monday evening for Auckland, where she is due on Thursday to complete.

MATUA FROM ISLANDS With passengers and Island cargo the Union Company's motor-ship Matua will arrive at Auckland on Wednesday morning from Rarotcmga. She will sail at five o'xlock on Thursday afternoon for Nukualofa, Apia and Suva. MONTEREY ON MONDAY The Matson liner Monterey will leave Sydney to-day for Auckland. She will arrive at seven o'clock on Monday morning and berth at Prince's Wharf, sailing at five o'clock the same afternoon for San Francisco, via ports. NIAGARA AT SUVA En route from Vancouver to Auckland the Canadian Australasian liner Niagara reached Suva last night, and is expected to sail at noon to-day for Auckland, where she is due on Monday morning. The Niagara will berth at Queen's Wharf and sail at 11 o'clock on Tuesday night for Sydney. KAIMIRO TO SAIL A meeting of the Seamen's Union at Auckland yesterday instructed the crew of the Union Company's steamer Kaimiro to take the ship to Wellington, where the dispute which has delayed her for more than a week will be further considered. The Kaimiro will sail this afternoon from Western Viaduct. PONUI PASSAGE LIGHT The Marine Department- advises that on June 1 the Ponni Passage light will be extinguished and a temporary light of the ordinary masthead oil lamp type, fixed at a relatively low level and of lesser arc and generally of limited visibility, will be exhibited. Further notice will be given when the reconstruction of the main light has been completed.
