WAIKATO SHOW

OPENING ON WEDNESDAY NINE DAYS' FIXTURE [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Thursday Preparations are now well advanced for the Waikato Winter Show, which will be opened by the Governor-Gen-eral, Viscount Galway, on Wednesday next. The show will remain open until June 9. Special train arrangements have been made for the conveyance of children to the exhibition. The judging of the entries for the international photographic salon has been completed, and the judging of the dairy exhibits by officers of the dairy division of the Department of Agriculture is proceeding. In many sections the entries are in excess of those of last year. All the space devoted to trade exhibits has been taken, and the occupants are busy preparing their stands. A wide variety of entertainment has been arranged. The fixture promises to be a pronounced success in every way.
