VICE-REGAL VISIT
METHODIST ORPHANAGE ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTION An indication of her interest in all kinds of social work was given yesterday morning, when Her Excellency, Viscountess Galway, visited the Methodist home for orphans and distressed children in Buckland Road, Epsom. The Rev. F. Copeland, chairman of the board of management, the Rev. G. Frost, manager, the Rev. A. Hopper, secretary, the matron and assistantmatron and members of the staff and the ladies' house committee greeted the visitor. Accompanied by Lieutenaut S. R. le H. Lombard-Hobson, A.D.C., Lady Galway was given an enthusiastic reception by the children, and was then escorted on a comprehensive tour of the rooms and dormitories. Before leaving Her Excellency expressed pleasure at her welcome and at the fact that so many of the children had been present to greet her on her arrival.
