CARD EFFORT FOR FUNDS
• An enjoyable card party was held by Mrs. J. C. Rennie at her home in Mairangi Bay in aid of tho Mairangi Bay branch of the National Party. Winners of prizes were: —Bridge, Mesdames Warner and Mnllenger; five hundred, Mesdames Boyes and P. Vosper. Those present included: —Mesdames Osborne, Victor Clay. Stomson, Ellison, Brockey, Bousie, l'\ Smith, Boon, Mullenger, Burgess, F. Vosper, Balmer, Green, Cholmondeley-Sinitli, P. Vosper, Warner, Boyes, Farley, Baxter, Baker, Carson, Marshall, Martin, Humphries, Misses Campbell, Ashman, Stephenson, (2), and Morgan.
