SPECIAL AUCKLAND FORECAST WEATHER FAIR TO CLOUDY The Government meteorologist issued to the Herat.d last evening the following special forecast for the Auckland Province: —Light to fresh south-west-erly to southerly winds. The weather for the most part is likely to be fair to cloudy, but occasional light rain is probable at many places, with moderate to cool temperatures. Seas slight to moderate, but rising somewhat on the "West Coast. YESTERDAY'S WEATHER
Auckland. —Fine but cloudy -weather with isolated showers and a fresh wind from the south-west was experienced yesterday. The maximum temperature was 64 degrees and the minimum 49 degrees. Barometric pressure fell steadily until the early evening, when it steadied. Barometer, midnight, steady .. 30.221b. Midnight, Tuesday .. Wellington.—Except for a considerable amount of high cloud the Weather was fine and mild. The minimum temperature on Tuesday night was 49.8 degrees and the maximum yesterday was 65.9 degree?. At 3 p.m."the barometer registered 30.006 in. Christchurch. —The weather was fine and sunny with a light north-east breeze. The maximum temperature was .38 degrees. The barometer was steady and registered, 30.04 at 5 p.m. Dunedin. —The weather in the morning was cool with a light breeze from the south-west. The sky was heavily overcast to the south, but cleared later and the thermometer rose to 63 degrees. The barometer fell slightly in the morning, but was rising at 30.15 in, last evening.
