POST OFFICE WORKSHOPS
One of the most up-to-date woodworking shops in Now Zealand is that of the Post and Telegraph Department in Wellington, which is equipped for the mass-production of articles ranging in size from wnll-brnc-kets lor mounting telephones to the familiar street telephone cabinets. Kepairs also range over a wide variety of articles, including the electrical "mechanical types and the complicated equipment necessary for the handling of millions of mail packages every year. A feature of the department's' workshops is that practically every carpentry operation can be performed mechanically with precision and rapidity.
