MISSING INDIAN
SEARCH BY THE POLICE CONCERN FELT FOR SAFETY [from OUR OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday Mystery still surrounds the disappearance of the Indian storekeeper, Delu Desai, aged 42, who has been missing from his home 'at .Taharoa, Kawhia, since May 7. inspector C. W. Lopdcll. officer in charge of the Hamilton police district, stated to-day that as the intensive inquiry and search made to find tho missing man had so far failed to produce results the anxiety felt for Desai's welfare was becoming more acute. "All police districts in New Zealand have been given the missing man's description, while Detectives A. J. White and J. Hayes, of Hamilton, are continuing their inquiries in the Taharoa and neighbouring districts," added Inspector Lopdcll. "Unless the missing man is located within a few days, further police win probably bo drafted to Taharoa to carry out A more intensive search than has been so far possible."
