Auckland Electric-Power Board Elections, May 25, 1938 VOTE FOR W. E. L. NAPIER A Solicitor by profession, former member Devonport Borough Council. Served on Electricity Committee at the time, the Council transferred its Electrical undertaking to Waitemata Power Board, when a saving of thousands of pounds was effected. Educated at Wanganui Collegiate School, Mr. Napier served for m lengthy period on active service and was wounded twice and awarded the Military Cross. His business experience both as a Solicitor and sometime director of several commercial undertakings commends him, as he stands for:— (1) Reduction of price of light current to consumers.
