WEDDING

GRAHAM—PARKES A charming wedding was celebrated in the Horsham Downs Hall, when Miss Edith Minnis Parkes, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Parkes, Horsham Downs, Hamilton, was married to Mr. Hector Graham, third son of Mr. J. H. Graham, Honikiwi, Otorohanga. The Rev. H. J. Lilburn officiated. The bride was attended by her niece, Miss Eileen Fleming, and her twin sisters, Ethel and Elsie Parkes, as flower girls. The bridegroom was attended by his brother as best man. The bride wore a graceful gown of satin beaute, with a coronet of orange blossom and long veil falling in a train. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums The bridesmaid and flower girls all wore frocks similarly fashioned of pale green satin beaute, with silver ribbon trimming. They also wore silver ribbon head-dresses, and carried bouquets of autumn-tinted chrysanthemums.

The reception was afterwards held in the hall, where the bride's mother received the guests. These included the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cains, Ngaroma.
