PINNED BY ROLLING LOG VIBRATION LOOSENS CHOCK ACCIDENT RAURIMU [BY TELEGBAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAUMABUNTJIi Tuesday A single rrian, Mr. Mark Agate,-aged 26, an employee of Messrs. King and Spiers' sawmill at Raurimu, met with a fatal accident in the bush two miles out. . Mr. Agate was working at the skids when it is thought that the vibration of a hauler loosened the chock and * log rolled, pinning deceased face doira on the ground. He was severely illjtired about the lower part of the body and one leg, and died half-way to Raurima when being conveyed from the bush. An inquest was opened to-day and adjourned. Mr. Agate had been e®* ployed for 16 months at the same milL His mother resides at Pa tea.
