ROTORUA-BAY OF PLENTY TAURANGA WARD OUTING % [BY TELEGBAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] TATTR ANG"A, Tuesday Many members of the Rotorua and . .Bay o£ Plenty Hunt Club turned out for the first meet of the Tauranga •.ward at Waikaraka, Te Puna. Hounds threw off on Mr. W. Allen's farm and crossed the farms of Messrs. Smith, Shroff, Tangitu, Campbell, Stapleton, and back on to Mr. Allen'B property before a hare was raised. It led the field right- round Mr. Allen's property and was finally lost in thick scrub. Another hare was soon raised on Mr. 'Allen's farm, but took refuge in adjoining scrub land. A third hare was started on Mr. Shroff's farm, but no kill resulted. The jumping was very spectacular and was watched by a large number of spectators in motor-cars. Afternoon tea was served to members and visitors at the home of Mrs. A. iSnodgrass. The deputy-master, Mr. J., H.
