WHANGAREI CLUB'S OPENING ■ ; ' • ' ' ■ ■ * ■ [from our own correspondent] 7 WHANGAREI, Tuesday The Whangarei Miniature Rifle Club opened its season last night with an attendance of over 40 members. A large increase in the membership, including a number of young shots, is recorded, and the prospects are particularly bright, is a fine array of trophies for this year's contests and the * club intends to hold the usual postal matches with a number of outside clubs.
