ROAD BOARD INTERESTS
MT. WELLINGTON DISTRICT
Thero was a good attendance at the annual meeting of ratepayers of the Mount Wellington Road Board, held in the Old School Hall, Paumure, last night. Mr. W. Gollan presided. A good financial position Avas reported, the debit balance of £52(3 at the beginning of the year being replaced by a credit balance" of £1097 nt the close of the financial year. At the conclusion of the meeting a vote of thanks to the chairman was carried with acclamation. Mr. Gollan, who is not seeking re-election, has served on- the board for the past 20 years.
