THE WINTER PROGRAMME i , . A wide range of subjects will be covered in the afternoon lectures given at the Auckland War Memorial Museum each Sunday during the winter season. Descriptive geography and ethnology, history and biology aro some of the themes to be treated in the series, the first of which will be presented pn Sunday by Mr. \V. H. Hemingway, honorary entomologist to the museum, under the title "Nino Months among the Australian Blacks." Succeeding lectures and speakers lor the season are as follows: — "Whaling," Mr. M. G.
