GIFTS TO MUSEUM
Among recent cifts to the Auckland War Memorial Museum is a collection of sea shells and also shell money, adzes and other articles from the Santa Cruz Islands, as well as the prow of a Maori river canoe from Mrs. D. Makgill, of Waiuku. Mr. J; E. Bellchamber, of Point Chevalier, has presented a case of mounted Australian birds, and Captain H. W. Smith, of Renuiera, has given an English red fox.
