TAKAPUNA RIDING LOAN
At a meeting representative of the districts concerned in "the proposed further loan of £7OOO for the construction and sealing of Beach Road from Milford to Long Bay, the Takapuna riding member, Mr. J. C. Rennie, explained that the extra rate to produce' interest and sinking fund would ho eleven-sixteenths of a .penny in the pound. This would cover both thi» £7200 already sanctioned by the ratepayers and the proposed loan to be placed before them to-morrow.
