TE AWAMUTU CLUB [from our own correspondent] TE AWAMUTU, Monday There was a good attendance of members at Victoria Park greens on Saturday, when club games were played, and the champion pairs competition for io3B was completed. A. C. Cole and E. Hollard met S. Clark and ' . .' n a semi-final of the champion pairs, and victory was gained by the first-named players after a keen tussle up to the Kith head, when Hollard gradually gained a margin. A three on the 20th settled matters, the scores then being 25—14. In the final Cole and Hollard met S. Haines and T. Mclnnes. The first-named gradually gained a nice lead, which was held in the concluding stages, to register a'win by 23 points to 12.
