THE AWATEA FOR SYDNEY Tho Union Company's transtasman liner Awatea, which arrived from Wellington yesterday morning, will leave from Queen's Wharf at five o'clock this afternoon for Sydney. The Awatea, which will reach Sydney on Thursday morning, will carry about 430 passengers. With phosphate from Nauru Island for Auckland and Wanganui the Bank Line steamer Jtowanbank arrived on Saturday morning and berthed at King's Wharf. OSTHAV FOR AUCKLAND To complete discharge of petrol from | Palembang for the Shell Company, the Norwegian tanker Osthav left Wellington yesterday morning for Auckland, where she will arrive to-morrow. The Osthav will berth at Western Wharf. TAMAROA'S PROGRESS The Shaw, Savill and Albion company has received a message from the liner Tamaroa, which left Wellington on April 27 for Southampton and London, reporting all well on board. The Tamaroa called at Pitcnirn Island at noon on Thursday.
