THE AWATEA FOR SYDNEY Tho Union Company's transtasman liner Awatea, which arrived from Wellington yesterday morning, will leave from Queen's Wharf at five o'clock this afternoon for Sydney. The Awatea, which will reach Sydney on Thursday morning, will carry about 430 passengers. With phosphate from Nauru Island for Auckland and Wanganui the Bank Line steamer Jtowanbank arrived on Saturday morning and berthed at King's Wharf. The Swedish motor-ship Eknaren reached port the . same evening from Imminghani, with basic slag, and berthed at Central Wharf. The Admiralty tanker Olna, which lias been discharging fuel oil from Abadan, will leave this evening on her return to tho Persian Gulf. THE PORT SYDNEY Expected to leave Gisborne for Auckland to-night, the Port Line steamer Port Sydney will arrive to-morrow night to load finally for London. i THE PORT HUNTER The Port Line steamer Port Hunter arrived from Ooua on Saturday night and berthed yesterday morning at Central Wharf, where she will load for London. KAKAPO FROM SYDNEY j The Union Company's steamer Kakapo, j which left Sydney for Auckland on Fridav afternoon, advised by wireless that she expects to arrive at three o'clock on Wednesday afternoon. OSTHAV FOR AUCKLAND To complete discharge of petrol from | Palembang for the Shell Company, the Norwegian tanker Osthav left Wellington yesterday morning for Auckland, where she will arrive to-morrow. The Osthav will berth at Western Wharf. TAMAROA'S PROGRESS The Shaw, Savill and Albion company has received a message from the liner Tamaroa, which left Wellington on April 27 for Southampton and London, reporting all well on board. The Tamaroa called at Pitcnirn Island at noon on Thursday. CLYDEBANK TO-MORROW Wireless advice from the Union Companv's chartered motor-ship Clydebank states that she expects to arrive from the Pacific Coast, via Papeete, at four o'clock to-mcrrow afternoon. She will berth at Prince's Wharf. THE BRISBANE MARU The Osaka Syosen "nisya motor-ship Brisbane Maru left Lyttelton on Saturday morning for Auckland, where she will arrive this afternoon to complete loading. The Brisbane Maru will berth at Prince's Wharf and sail to-morrow for Manila and Yokohama.
