NO GERMAN UNEMPLOYED MINISTER'S CAUSTIC RETORT (Received May 4, 5.5 p.m.) OTTAWA. May 3 Discussing unemployment in the House of Commons. M. Rene Pelletter (Social Credit) mentioned that there were no unemployed in Germany. "They are all in the Army," retorted Mr. Charles Dunning, the Minister of Finance. "For the same reason, Russia has no unemployed. The southern United States, too, had no unemployed —during tho Negro slavery."
