EXPANSION ADVOCATED QUESTION OF NEGOTIATIONS (Received May 4, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, May 3 Asked in the House of Commons to consider trade negotiations with Czechoslovakia on the lines of the recent American-Czechoslovak ian treaty for the purpose of offering Czechoslovakia Markets alternative to those recently, closed by the German action in Central Europe, the Foreign UnderSecretary, Mr. It. L. Butler, replied that the British Government was at all times anxious to adopt any course likely to' increase trade between the United Kingdom and foreign countries, and he assured the House that no possibility of the kind would be overlooked. Further asked .if he would consider opening discussions with the Czechoslo*akian Government, Mr, Butler said Jaoxadjar question.
