BURGLARY IN CITY
The sum of £3 10s was stolen from the tobacconist's shop of Green and Newman, near the chief post office in Queen Street, on Tuesday night, when an entry was made through a fanlight abore the door. The thief apparently left by the fanlight after obtaining the money. The theft was not discovered until yesterday morning, when the proprietor opened the till and found it empty. It is pot thought that any of the stock was removed. The area is well lighted and is patrolled by the policy
