I, FRANK LANGSTONE, Minister of Lands, in tho exercise of powers conferred upon me by " The Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1010," and its Amendments, and by Section 11 of "The Finance Act (No. 2), 1937," do hereby make and levy <)n the Unimproved Value of. all Land within the district constituted under the said Act, the General Rates to meet maintenance costs for the peripd April 1, 1037, to March 31, 1938, as described in the Schedule hereto. ■ The amount of such Rates will be payable on the 10th day of May, 1938. The Ratebook, of the District is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer's Office, Room 45, Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the office of the Chief Drainage Engineer at Thornton, near Whakatane, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.
