WAITEMATA COUNTY LOAN
SUPPORT AT BROWN'S BAY Details of the proposed loan to be raised by the Wnitematn County Council of £7OOO for the sealing of the Beach Road highway from Castor Bay to Long Bay were outlined by the Takapuna riding member, Sir. J. C. Ronnie, at a meeting of ratepayers at Brown's Bay on Tuesday evening. The sum of £7200 had already been authorised, but before the work could bo commenced, a further £7OOO was required. The meeting unanimously decided to support the proposed loan, which will be placed before the ratepayers on Wednesday.
