CRICKET TOUR LOSS
DOMINION TEAM ABROAD AMOUNT OF OVER £I9OO COMMENT BY CHAIRMAN' [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"] CHRISTC.HURCH, Wednesday A loss, of £1932 is revealed in the interim statement of accounts of the New Zealand cricket team's tour abroad last year. A report was presented tonight by Mr. D. E. Wanklyn, chairman of the' New Zealand Council's management committee. "The results of our tours abroad have been uniformly unfortunate," Mr. Wanklj-n said, "but I am sure all the delegates will agree that the loss last year was due to no fault of the team, although, perhaps, its performances did not come up to the standard a lot of us hoped they would." In the 1931 tour the loss was £1461, and in 1927, £4674.
