ANZAC CONTINGENT
HOSPITALITY IN SYDNEY APPRECIATION EXPRESSED SYDNEY, April 30 Before leaving by the Awatea last night, the Hon. W. Perry, M.L.C., .Dominion president of the Returned Soldiers' Association, issued a message of appreciation and thanks to the Government and the people of New South Wales, and the Lord Mayor of Sydney, on behalf of the .New Zealand returned uokliers. Mr. Perry said: "Everything that could have been done to make our stay pleasurable was done." Colonel Gambrill and LieutenantColonel Lyons, on behalf of the men on the Mauuganui and Monowai respectively, also wrote to the Lord Mayor expressing their appreciation of the hospitality shown to members of the contingent by the people of Sydney.
