PORT OF AUCKLAND MARIPOSA DUE TO-DAY Principal interest in the port to-day will be taken in the movements of passenger vessels. With 241 passengers lor Auckland, the Matson liner Mariposa will arrive from Sydney at 7 o'clock this morning anil will berth at Prince's Wharf. She will continue her voyage to San Francisco at 5 p.m., taking 180 passengers from Auckland. The Canadian-Australasian liner Aorangi. which arrived from Vancouver shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday, berthing at Queen's Wharf, is scheduled to sail for Sydney at 11 o'clock to-night. She is scheduled to sail on Thursday for Whangarei and will later proceed to New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Timaru. FORDSDALE FROM LIVERPOOL With general cargo from Glasgow and Liverpool, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Fordsdale reached Auckland shortly after 11 a.m. yesterday and berthed at King's Wharf.
