SEAMEN'S DISPUTE ENDED SATISFACTORY SETTLEMENT [BY TtfLICGRAPH —PRKSS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTUHURCH, Sunday After 'having been delayed at Lvttelton for a week'because of disputes with the crew the steamer Tees sailed last night for the Chatham Islands. Mr. P. Walsh, president of the Seamen's Federation, arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning and addressed a meeting of the seamen. He conferred later with the agents for the Tees, W. W. Toy and Company, and a settlement, said to be satisfactory to both sides, was made. , A new crew, which included some members of the former crew, began work oji board tbe vessel at 9 a.m. and the Tees sailed at 7.15 p.m.
