PUBLICATION OF WORKS MOVEMENT IN ENGLAND [from our own correspondent] LONDON, April 9 With the object of introducing to England the work of Dominion authors, the British Authors' Press has been founded in London. Its first book, to be published on April 19, will be an anthology of short stories by 26 New Zealanders. The editor is C. R. Allen, and an introduction has been written bv the New Zealand-born writer, i Sir Hugh Walpole. A similar anthology by Australians is now in preparation and an annual, which will include work by Dominion authors, is contemplated, If the initial volumes are successful the publication of the work of Dominion novelists will be undertaken.
