NEXT LONDON SALES FAVOURABLE The next series of London wool sales for the current year will open on May 10. This auction will be the third of the year. Tho Hank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London oflice under date ol April 29: - Prospects for the next series of wool sales are favourable. We anticipate a firm market without any material change in prices. Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited, and Abraham and Williams, Limited, received a cablegram from their Bradford agents regauling the tops market as follows: —-Merino and fine crossbred tops are id up, with other crossbred tops id to Jd up. There is more business passing and a much better tone prevails. APPLES IN DEMAND SALES IN LONDON (Received May 1. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. April 30 Apples are in good demand. New Zealands by> the Rangitiki and Diinediji Star, sold as follows: —('ox's, 7s f)d to 10s .'ld; Jonathans, 7s 6d to 10s 9d. Tasmunian Cox's realised 7s 6d to 12s, and Jonathans, 8s 3d to 10s 6d.
