MANUKAU FATALITY
MAN WASHED FROM LAUNCH INQUEST AT ONEHUNGA ' The adjourned inquest into the death of Mr. Albert William Tisch, aged 62, of 317 Queen Street, Onehunga, who was washed overboard from the fishing launch Almora at the Manukau Heads oji April 11, was resumed before the coroner, Mr. C. 11. Orr Walker, S.M., at Onehunga, oil Saturday morning, when a verdict of accidental drowning was returned. . Sergeant S. A. Brown informed the coroner that the owner of the launch, Mr. Edward Wallbank, who was one of the two witnesses tc the mishap, had died in the Auckland Hospital on April 27. The remaining: witness, Mr. Herbert Gardner, deposed that he and deceased were in the cockpit, while Mr. Wallbank was at the wheel. He saw a tremendous sea approaching them and he immediately dropped to the floor, but deceased, who remained T on his feet, was washed overboard. Wallbank did all ho could to recover deceased, but the heavy seas made it impossible.
