NIGHT AND DAY SEARCH WIDER AREA COVERED -"a Although parties have been searching night and day for a week, no trace ha# been found of Colin-W illiam Glass, aged 26, who escaped from the Waikeria Institute, Te Awamutu, on April IS. Constables and warders have maintained a constant search, their;, efforts being concentrated on an area within a radiui of about ten miles frorri the institute. The parties are now gradually broadening the scope of their operations and, while attention is still being centred on the Te Awamutu district, the search is being continued further afield. Police stations in surrounding districts ar* ia touch with the institute,-and a watch ia being kept on a wide network of roads.
