OPOTIKI ESTIMATES [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] OPOTIKI, Saturday At a special meeting of the Opotiki Hospital Board the secretary, Mr. J. T. Merry, submitted a statoinent of estimated receipts and expenditure for the year%nid also a statement of receipts and expenditure for tho year just closed. Through increases in salary and general increases in all hospital requirements the estimates for the previous vear were exceeded by approximately £6OO. The board decided to adopt the estimates, which provide for levies on local authorities of £2248 and Government subsidies of £2182 for maintenance expenditure.
