Mf F- Picot, Director of Internal Marketing, accompanied by Mrs. Picot, arrived by car yesterday. They are staying at Hotel Cargen. Dr A. G. Ruiter, of Napier, is to. leave shortly with Mrs. Rutter to take charge of the Muthodist Mission Hospital in the Solombn Islands. Mr. A. Turner, supervisor of the banana trade in the Internal Marketing Department, returned from Wellington by train on Saturday. Mr. R. S. A. Graham, surgical superintendent of tho Waikato Hospital, will leave Wellington this week for a nine months' trip to Great Britain. :

The KeV. M. L. Underbill arrived at Wellington by the Afawa on Friday to take up work in New Zealand as vicar of Raetihi-Ohakune. Mr. Underbill was lately associated With the Rer. T. H. Clayton in the work of Too H in London.
Lieutenant D. J, Godden. lately with the Ist Minesweeper Flotilla at Portland, Dorset, arrived at Wellington by the Arawa from England on Friday for duty with the New Zealand Division of the Iloyal Navy. Hd reached Auckland on Sunday.
