SIR E. BEATTY'S VIEWS FASCISM AND GUNMEN OTTAWA, April 22 The president of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, Sir Edward Beatty, in a speech at London, Ontario, urged youths to equip themselves for public life. He said tho road to power in a Social Credit State was an ability to write books which no one could understand. Socialism would place the responsibilities of government on experts, but it never Btated how these would bo selected. "Fascism is some complex theory of Divine inspiration," said Sir Edward,
"under which the man who is most successful in raising a private army of gunmen proves to be the host ruler."
