Aitkenhead in the final, 6 —l, (>—2. The semi-finals in the men's championship doubles resulted:—J. Aitkenhead and J. Mackie beat N. Gummer and M. Best, 6 —o, fi—4; K. Clark and G. Willis beat J. C. Charters and H. Smith, ft—3, 4 —G, 6—4. Results in the semi-finals in the ladies' championship doubles were:—Misses B. Potter and L. Bishop beat Misses Saddleton and Shepherd. 6—l, fi—2; Mesdames A.
