EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES MANY children attend Increasing use. of the facilities of the 'Auckland War Memorial Museum is being made by l teachers and school pupils, according to a report received from the museum education officer, Mr. H. A. Scobie, at a meeting of the council of the Auckland Institute and Museum yesterday. The report stated that 29 school classes and a total of 1078 children had attended the museum since March 16. Several groups of students from the Auckland Teachers' Training College Trere carrying out cultural studies at the museum and assiting in instructing the scliool children attending. The Rutherston Collection of Chinese art had. been received from the Dominion Museum and placed on temporary exhibition, stated the report of the director, Mr. Gilbert Archey.
