ARREST AT HAMBURG

PROMINENT SHIPPING MAN GENERAL'S HONOUR CLEARED Times Cable LONDON, April 15 The secret police have caused consternation in commercial circles in Hamburg by arresting Herr Erich Laiesz, chairman of a well-known shipping line, says the Berlin correspondent of the Times. He is charged with race pollution by his relations with a non-Arvan girl. The correspondent also states that the former commander-in-chief of the German Army, General von I' ritsch, who retired on February 4 for "health reasons," has been exonerated on a serious charge of moral offence by a Court of Honour, presided over by Field-Marshal Goering. There is reason to believe that General Fritsch may shortly receive a special honour from Herr Hitler.
