STRIKE IN ENGLAND
CINEMA OPERATORS LONDON, April 15 A cinema operators' strike for higher wages and shorter hours threatens to extend from London —where 1500 members of the Electrical Trades Union are idle —to Manchester and Hull. The London cinemas were opened, but many had to be closed. Halls were picketed.
