TOWN AND COUNTRY VISITS Mrs. H. Fear, of Pokuru, has left for a holiday at New Plymouth and Wanganui. Miss Chalmers, of Auckland, is at present the guest of Mrs. R. Dawson, of College Street. Mrs. W. Gull, of Laurie Street, has returned from a three weeks holiday spent in the Whangarei district. Mrs. C. G. Downes, of Rewi Street, will spend Easter with her mother, Mrs. F. D. Polling, of Eketahuna, Mrs. E. W. Hancock, of Young Street, is leaving shortly to spend a few days with her sons at Cardiff. Mrs. John Sterritt and her small son have returned from Russell. Miss Jean Elliott, of Alexandra Street, will leave on Monday evening for Wellington, where she will jom Nurse E. McLeofJ. Together they will proceed bv the Awatea on Tuesday to Sydney, en route to England. Mrs. S. Clark and Miss Mavis Clark, of Wallace Terrace, are spending Easter in AVanganui.
